Gluing is a common connection method used when connecting carbon fiber pipes. It uses adhesive to bond the pipes together. It has high connection efficiency, light structure, can obtain a smooth aerodynamic surface, and does not cause electrochemical corrosion problems. Pay attention to the following issues when gluing:

1. Choose a connection form that makes the adhesive layer undergo shear force in the direction of maximum strength and try to avoid the adhesive layer from being stressed in the normal direction to prevent peeling;
2. Try to avoid interlayer peeling of the laminate at the connecting end;
3. When working at high temperatures, the thermal expansion coefficients of the selected adhesive and connectors should be as consistent as possible;
4. Minimize stress concentration caused by connections;
5. Enlarge the cementing area as much as possible to increase the load-bearing capacity.
